A vactor truck — also called a hydrovac truck or vacuum excavation truck — combines a high-pressure water system with an industrial vacuum to excavate soil safely and precisely. The water breaks up the ground, and the vacuum removes the resulting slurry into an onboard debris tank, leaving underground utilities completely undamaged.
